MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia on 14 July 2012

World Stage Live in Malaysia 2012 is set to make a big return to the Surf Beach @ Sunway Lagoon on 14 July with a spectacular line-up featuring global superstar Justin Bieber, multi-award winning Korean pop sensations Jay Park and Kara, and the nation’s very own singer-songwriter Mizz Nina.

MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2012, staged in front of a live audience of about 15,000 fans, is sponsored by Sunway Integrated Resort City, Lenovo, Xpax and Twisties, and supported by broadcast partner, Astro.

MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2012 will be produced into a 2-hour TV show premiering on MTV SEA channel on Saturday 28 July 2012, 12:30pm (WIB), 1:30pm (SG/HK/PHIL) and 2:30pm (MAL). An hour-long version will also be broadast later in the year via MTV’s global network of more than 60 channels in over 150 territories reaching over 600 million households.

Chart-bothering American popsters, Maroon 5 are rewarding their eager fans by returning to Malaysia for a whirlwind tour with special guests The Cab, taking in the Shah Alam Stadium for an exclusive ONE-NIGHT-ONLY live concert.

Since their last Malaysian tour, the three-time Grammy Award-wining band have seen their popularity grow to new heights with their latest #1 single 'Payphone' (featuring American rapper Wiz Khalifa) storming the airwaves and clubs. 'Payphone' is the lead single from Maroon 5's highly anticipated fourth album Overexposed (out June 26 through Universal) which promises to be the band's strongest yet.

Adam Levine's schedule is looking extra crazy as he continues in his role as coach on America's hugely successful The Voice alongside Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green. Aguilera and Maroon 5 are no strangers after their collaboration on the 2011 smash hit 'Moves Like Jagger' which topped charts in 18 countries across the globe, including peaking at #2 on the ARIA singles chart, and #3 overall in the same year-end chart and becoming one of the most paid downloaded songs in history.

Chart topping aside, "Moves Like Jagger' saw the band nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and win the 2012 People's Choice Award for Favourite Band.

Joining Maroon 5 for this very special show will The Cab, a band guaranteed to get you up on and on your feet. Christina Perri Live In KL Live

Music new singer song writing sensation CHRISTINA PERRI who took the music industry by storm with her single “Jars Of Hearts” and now with the anthemic theme from the Twilight saga movie Breaking Dawn.  "A Thousand Years" will be performing Live in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, 7th June at KL LIVE at 8.30 pm.

Christina Perri has come a long way as in July 2010, the struggling singer-songwriter and musician had a life-changing moment when she was asked to perform a song she had written, a defiant break-up anthem called “Jar of Hearts,” on the Fox show So You Think You Can Dance. The raw, emotional quality of her performance connected with viewers and catapulted the 24-year-old Philadelphia native into the public eye. “Jar of Hearts” went on to sell a million downloads and land Perri, who was then supporting herself as a café manager in Beverly Hills, a deal with Atlantic Records.
